My kids' birthdays just passed, and this year I decided to do something different for them...cake wise. I had flipped through a cake decorating book at the local public library and discovered all these fancy cakes made using something called "Rolled Icing" or "Rolled Fondant". I later discovered that making cakes using this stuff is called Sugarcraft. After a bit of googling, I discovered Kimberly Chapman's website on sugarcraft, along with a gallery of her work. Anyhow, I decided to start "easy", and as my daughter was going to see the new Ice Age 2 movie with her friends, I figured I'd start east and make here an iceberg cake:
