Time for a couple more panoramas. These were made and enterred into a contest run by Meet the GIMP a video podcast on using the GIMP photo editing software.
The two photos were uploaded to the image hosting site 23 for the contest, but I figured I'd put them in full size using the PTViewer applet.

The first is a braided river in Denali, Alaska. The image was stitched from 8 images with the final image 13036x1786 The panorama source is 1/2 size, as the full size image is too large for this java applet.

While panning, use control and shift keys to zoom in and out.
Alternatively, use the arrow keys for panning and tilting in fixed increments.
Use + and -, or > and < keys to zoom in fixed increments.

The second is a glacier in the collage fjord. The image was stitched from 15 images with the final image 8185x2466. I had to reduce it to 1/2 again, because of java memory limits.
