Over at the I'm Just Creative Blog Graham posted about exploring logo designs with Mathematica. Since I can't afford the £2000 pricetag, I dismissed this as outside the realm of mere mortals and amateurs.

Then I remembered I have had some experience with Processing:

...an open source programming language and environment for people who want to create images, animations, and interactions.

as I have some experience with it. A quick little search found ControlP5 which provides a nice little widget library for Processing.

A couple hours effort (mostly looking up examples and references) and I'm ready to present my version of this deconstruction/reconstruction of the Mercedes logo
