My wife and I went to the Blue Man Group in Toronto last night. It was a birthday present for her. Not realy knowing what to expect, we had a positively brilliant time! We were unable to go see them in Las Vegas, and the last time I was in Chicago, there was no time either, so when I found out they were starting an open-ended run in Toronto, I absolutely had to buy tickets.
Back when I was a kid there was a TV series hosted by James Burke called Connections. The point of this series was to demonstrate how seemingly disparate items were, in fact, connected through history and technological development. This is my own variation of Connections, exploring the common thread through manhole covers, the Canadian Dollar coin, Mazda automobiles and joinery.
