Quite a while a go, I took an old 400Mhz Compaq desktop that even my kids refused to use, installed the Clarkconnect linux distribution on it, and created my presence on the nasty old world wide web. It runs without a monitor, so I have to ssh into it to check it. About the same time, I had wired up an LCD display to use in a PC based MP3 player that I finished, but found was too loud (fans) to use where I wanted it. More recently I decided to put the LCD into the Clarkconnect box so I could see what it was up to just by looking at the case.
What follows is a photo-journal of the month-long, very part time project.
