And another panorama, this time from the top of Sulphur Mountian in Banff.
We took the gondola to the top to enjoy the view. The peak directly in front is Sanson Peak (2256m). There is a wooden walkway built by Parks Canada that connects the Sulphur Mountain Gondola Station (where the picture is from) to a stone meteorological observatory built in 1903 that can be seen in the panorama. This was also the location cosmic ray research station built in 1956 by the National Research Council of Canada that operated until 1978.
The panorama image may take a while to load.
I even got fancy and added a lens flare in the panorama applet. I think it add a bit more "being-there" feeling to the image.
