While out of country for a few weeks my server "died". More correctly the MySQL daemon cacked out and didn't restart. It seems to have run out of memory..... It might be time to upgrade from my Pentium II to something newer
Out of idle curiosity, I wanted to see how much comment and trackback spam was getting filtered out but the S9Y spamblock plugin[?]. I enabled logging on February 2. Checking just a few moments ago, the log was 27meg. Ouch. No wonder the site is sometimes slow.
I'm just glad I never see them...the plugin is doing its job alright.
I finally had the time to apply the patches for DST on my server. As with most things in the ClarkConnect distribution, the patch went in simply and cleanly, without fuss. Now the time displayed on my daylight map is correct again.
