Rob, great to see you continuing to develop this theme, which is one of my favourite s9y themes.
I'm having some problems with IE6 and your site/theme.
Something to do with your plugins I think is making your site VERY slow, and in fact is making my whole PC slow down while it waits for all the google/weather info to come through.
Also, I'm noticing the shadow effect isn't working terribly well. The blog title (h1) is offset by several pixels, while the blog description (h2) works perfectly. Is this a typo, or a fault with IE, the reason I ask is that I would love to use this effect on one of my themes, but would have to leave it out if IE didn't play nice.
Carl - a complement on a theme from you, the undisputed king of themes, is great praise indeed.
I know that IE has been a pain in the backside for me (I usually use firefox) with this theme. Generating the shadow effect requires a bit if a CSS kludge for IE, and maintaining the centre column width at a fixed max requires another kludge, as IE doesn't support the maxwidth attribute.
I'll have to check the H1 H2 css entries to see if they are the same, but I see the letters clipped off in IE, while they aren't in firefox.
I discussed some of the problems I have with the googlemap API in the forums here: http://www.s9y.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2133
which is why I started writing the suntimes plugin. I think I'm going to add all the geolocate stuff over to it, and stop using the googlemap API, as the calls seem to take a REALLY long time, especially when using IE.
